Retreat in Country House Montessino

During this intense week we will dive deep into the various practices of yoga. The day will begin in silence on the beautiful meditation deck outside. This will be followed by a Kriya & pranayama practice. We then walk silently back to the yoga room with stunning views out on to the surrounding countryside.There we enjoy a 2-hour dynamic Hatha Vinyasa Flow practice. The evening practice begins with mantra followed by discussion of philosophy, answering questions and then we round the day off with a restorative yin yoga practice.

The location: Ottiglio, Alessandria. (4 car hours away from Zürich) We will be spending our week in the beautiful, newly-renovated Boutique Hotel Country House Montessino, Italy. In the distant past on one of the picturesque hills of the Monferrato, the hamlet of Montessino belonged to a large Italian wine-growing family. In 2016 Claudia and Alessandro acquired one of the historic houses (built 1850) and restored it with great passion and care for detail. This is truly a place to “lean back and enjoy the pleasures of life in harmony with nature, following the motto Carpe Diem” as they say on their website.
